OEM or ODM - which one do you need?

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) means you bring the design - tech pack, materials, measurements - and we manufacture it exactly to spec under your brand. ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) means you start from our proven in-house styles and customize colors, fabrics, logos and features to create your own version quickly.

Most customers actually use a mix: they pick an existing DUTA structure that already passed drop tests and compliance checks, then modify pockets, trims and branding. It cuts development time in half without sacrificing originality.

What full customization covers

Every element of the backpack can be tailored to your market and price point:

• Materials - 300D to 1680D polyester, nylon, rPET recycled fabrics, TPU coatings and YKK or SBS zippers.
• Structure - laptop compartments, insulated cooler sections, USB ports, anti-theft pockets, hydration sleeves.
• Branding - embroidery, silicone patches, screen printing, sublimation, custom pullers, woven labels and hangtags.
• Packaging - polybags, color boxes, inner cartons and barcode labeling matched to your warehouse requirements.

The development flow, step by step

A typical project moves through six stages: requirement review, quotation, sample development (5-7 working days), sample confirmation, bulk production and pre-shipment inspection. You get photo and video updates at each milestone, and nothing goes to the cutting table before you sign off the golden sample.

For OEM orders we also run a DFM (design-for-manufacturing) review - if a stitch line or material choice will cause problems at scale, we tell you before tooling, not after.

Low barriers for new brands

You do not need to be a big-box retailer to work with us. Our MOQ starts low enough for crowdfunding projects and first-run private labels, and our team responds to technical questions within 24 hours. Send a sketch, a reference photo or even a competitor link - we will handle the engineering.
